net on 14,293 Long Path.
I listened from 0630z but heard
only occasional faint signals
from
Klaus HB9CQS and John G4HMG. Not
enough to work them.
Thanks to Klaus we have the
following report. : -
Greetings Bill,
QRM from the Jamboree activity
weekend and the Worked all
Germany contest was
murderous.
S9 on the meter over long
periods. For once I would have
liked some heavy QRM from the
UK
stations to show me that at
least the band was open
between us. What I heard was
9A, 9H, HA, I, UA, YU, YO etc.
0633z - VK4ZD, Bill. 57 when
in the clear. Bill disappeared
entirely for a while, but came
back 55.
0639z - VK2CAP, Henning. 56
here. Lives south of Sydney.
Not Rotarian.
0641z - VK5CV, Bill. 56 here.
Got 44, later 55. Bill tried
to raise other RI net
stations, but did not succeed.
0707z - Signed off with VK4ZD
and VK5CV since band was
closing. Both stations now 44
=> 43.
0727z - My last CQ RI net
call. No readable answers.
Kind regards
Klaus, HB9CQS
PS. Worked VK4ZD, Bill on
