On prediction both should come through better a little later, but in a

1900z - 2000z UK evening 80-metre Net on 3692.
I missed this one. Thanks to Brian G3LUW for the following report.
"Good Evening Bill, John,Tommy and I found a reasonably quiet
frequency and chatted until 1935.
The band was noisy elsewhere with very long skip, and no other
members managed to find us. 73 Brian"

As treasurer of ROAR I would like to let the
members know that I have set up a Paypal account.
ROAR RIBI, ROAR Japan and ROAR members in
Australia and New Zealand have a method in place to handle
payments.
Paypal is for the rest of the world.
There are several countries that Paypal does
not recognize however. For those we will have to work something
else out.
Visa card is also available.
If anyone has any questions please e-mail me
at
Seasons greetings to all. 73, de

Also from Bob,
On a sad note I report the passing of Al Howard, K7LVC.
Al became a silent key at 1AM Sunday morning, December 11.
He was one of our net controllers on the 1800Z net on Sunday.
His positive and cheerful voice will be sorely missed. God Bless
you Al. !
From Chairman Laszlo CT/AD6XX
I wish to share with you that RI President Carl-Wilhelm
Stenhammer points out in his December message in the
Rotarian Magazine where he elaborates on the Rotary Families:
"It is important that we care about the family of Rotary. I helps
us in our work and it creates fellowship and friendship -
two of the cornerstones of Rotary International"
Do we have finally a President who recognizes the plane importance
of Fellowships? I hope so. ROAR is one of this cornerstone!!!
